The Digi-T Mount Kit is the one accessory that has made the greastest difference to my astro-imaging. I was happy with some of my earlier pictures taken afocally but with the Digi-T mount the consistency improved measurably. It is the one piece of kit that I would recommend to anyone using a digital camera for this type of work.
The eyepiece in the picture is not part of the mount kit but I have included it to give an indication of how the mount works. The rubber eyeguard is removed and then the Digi-T ring is secured to the eyepiece with 3 allen screws in the groove left vacant by the eyeguard.
The large plastic 'cone' in the top right of the picture is a Canon accessory supplied with the mounting kit.
