Green Witch Home Page and On-line Catalogue

I have used Green Witch on several occasions and would recommend them to anyone. They provide an exceptional service second to none and are more interested in selling you equipment that you will use rather then the biggest shiny thing they have in the shop. On my first contact I spent nearly an hour on the telephone with them and at no time did I feel that they couldn't be bothered. Well worth a visit if your in the Cambridge area.

New LinkSCS Astro Ltd - The Astronomy ShopNew Link

I've just bought my new scope from SCS Astro and the level of service has been superb. The first scope went missing in the post (Personally I think it was stolen by some low life working for the parcel carrier as you don't loose a box 5 feet high and weighting 50 odd pounds!) As soon as I contacted SCS to say I hadn't received the new scope they checked with the carrier and then had a new one sent the next day (with a new parcel carrier - they tell me they won't be using the old carrier anymore). I received the replacement the very next day. Very easy to deal with and excellent prices. If you need any astronomy equipment and you're in the UK give them a ring.

Heavens-Above

If it's in the sky you'll find it here. Heavens-Above provides a wealth of information from Star Charts to the current postion of the International Space Station. The site can be customised for your location and time zone and all pages are generated in real-time. Check out the Iridium Flare times for your location - always a spectacular sight.

Sky and Telescope

Sky and Telescope Magizine - A very useful site - especially the Interactive Sky Chart as well as many other resources. Well worth a space in your "favourites" folder.

Streetmap

Need to work out your Latitude and Longitude - type in your postcode and Robert's your fathers brother. Much easier than trying to use an Ordnance Survey Map, not as much fun though.
